Kitchen Chaos
There has been a disaster in the kitchen all the labels of the spices. You have to figure what each spice is out of A,B,C,D and E you’ve got to find witch spice goes where by taking out a series of test.
The substence’s are:
1.Salt
2.Cream of tartar
3.Corn flower
4.Icing sugar
5.Backing soda
This is what you can use to carry out the experiment:
1.Vinegar
2.Eye drop
3.Iodine
4. Blue and Red Litmus paper
The salt turns the red litmus paper blue because its an alkaline and alkaline reacts to red litmus and turns it paper blue.
The Cream of tartar turns the blue litmus paper red because only acids blue litmus paper red.
The Cornflower is neutral and has no reaction to litmus paper and if you add
iodine it turns it to blue black.
